Here, in The Netherlands, the chance of a cure is 80%. In poor countries, not even 10%.

More than 400,000 children worldwide are affected by cancer every year. 80% of them live in Low & Middle Income Countries (LMIC). The chance of a cure for childhood cancer in the poorest countries is less than 10%. The contrast with the 75% cure rate for children with cancer in rich countries such as the Netherlands is unacceptable.

That is why we are participating in the football tournament organized by Servier Nederland on June 16, 2022.
