Bioinformatics

Data analysis is crucial for the successful completion of your Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) project.

NGS service provider

As one of the world’s first service providers for NGS, we have gathered a vast amount of knowledge and tools to accurately transform raw sequence data -like FASTQ files- into easily intelligible reports and interpretable file formats.

As part of our standard NGS service, we already include an extensive quality control (QC) on the data to assess the quality of the sequence run and data set. We make sure you start your analysis with a good quality data set. This data QC or primary analysis is included free-of-charge when you outsource your sequencing project to us.

Validated pipelines for easy data-analysis
Our experienced Bioinformaticians have developed software for common data analysis requests. These data analysis pipelines are tested and optimized to get the most out of your FASTQ files. Use our validated bioinformatics services to save time and development costs!

Analysis packages we offer under the ISO17025 accreditation scope:

  • Whole Genome (re)sequencing
  • Targeted (re)sequencing
  • Genotyping, SNP, mutation analyses
  • Copy Number Variation
  • de novo assembly
  • Automated Assembly and Annotation for prokaryotic genomes
  • Whole Transcriptome Sequencing (mRNA-Seq)
  • Digital Gene Expression
  • ChIP Seq analysis
  • Functional annotation
  • miRNA and small RNA Analysis

Our Bioinformaticians routinely perform custom analyses. When starting up a sequencing research project, we always discuss the options for data-analysis. You can choose to receive the quality controlled sequencing data in FASTQ format (standard) or opt for a detailed bioinformatics analysis.
